ABP 1.2 by toastbrotpascal ABP 1.2 by toastbrotpascal
Need help?
Take a look at the ABP support thread on the Rainmeter forums: [link] or write a comment here on deviantART.

Attention!
Rainmeter 1.3 or higher is needed for this skin to work.
Get the latest version here [link]

Changelog:

ABP 1.2:

-completely refined white skin

-new search skin for multiple search engines and the command line with text-input

-new "all-in-one" skin - featuring System, Weather, RSS, ToDo and Apps in smallest space

-some fixes and minor changes here & there

ABP 1.1:
-Tabs now stay open even after refreshing Rainmeter/rebooting/etc.

-Volume control in music skin

-Added more functions to slideshow

-Bug fixed: No more error messages saying "Settings.ini doesn't contain any meters"

-Several small fixes and updated graphics here and there ...

ABP 1.01:

Launcher bug fixed. Thanks to ~ufo01fr for the hint.

ABP1.0 (first public release):

This is ABP for Rainmeter, the suite comes in black and white and has a configure-tool pretty much like Tabmeter2.

You also find kinda tabs in there, for example in the RSS or Launcher skins. These are meant to be small but still featuring a lot of functions.

Here are some tips:
The launcher has space for 21 shortcuts, but I personally liked to have some of them launch a website instead a program. You can do this by clicking "Advanced Options" in the configure-tool and then just put in things like Link1-1="h t t p://w w w. deviantart. com" (of course without the spaces - I only did this so deviantART doesn't see this as an URL :D)

Questions and Answers:
I always get an error when I try to open a tab in the System skin, but that doesn't happen with the Launcher :confused:
Answer: Get Rainmeter1.3

Is your skin compatible to Foobar/WMP/etc.?
Answer: nope. But you can get a CAD skin fitting the suite perfectly here: [link]

As always, I'm very happy about every comment, :+fav:, :+devwatch: and llama, even if I don't write a comment on your profile ^^;

Feedback and (feature) suggestions appreciated. :peace:

I absolutely love this, my friend. I'm having a problem though, how do I use spotify with the music player? It's defaulted to itunes but I can't figure out how to change it. I really hope you see this and can respond.

Oh sorry but I wanted to ask you something if it's not a problem: You see I clicked right on the slideshow and clicked "Click through" in the settings so I was wondering how do I undo it?

Also THANKS is an awesome skin.

Just go to the rainmeter control panel (click the icon on the notification area). Select the proper skin from the left sidebar and uncheck "Click through". There you go.

I know you did this skin a looooong time ago, but I just got into rainmeter and found it. Congrats!!! ...and thanx for sharing!!! And I gotta say your TO-DO list is one of the funniest things I've read! Almost don't want to erase it ;) (...hope you milked the cows during these 4 years).

So in order to cross it off the list, I wanna give you a llama...just don't know how to :/

So congrats again on such f***cool work!!!

All the best...

I love your skin, have been using it for a while.  Is there anyway you could make a version of the system monitor that uses 6 CPU cores?  It would match my system perfectly then =)  Thank you if possible I would really appreciate it!

This is a masterpiece! I really enjoy using it! It will be even better if the RSS feeds can be clicked on to open the links displayed there.

I tried changing for example this:

LeftMouseUpAction=[MeasureLink1-6]

Into this:

LeftMouseUpAction=["[MeasureLink1-6]"]

This did fix the unable to click to open part of the equation but it does not lead me to that feed I want to see, it instead leads me to www.&.com.

Anyone got any idea to fix this?

THANKS!

I am very new to using Rainmeter, and I'm having an issue; I've found loads of beautiful skins/themes for Rainmeter that I would love to use, but all of them so far are so tiny that it hurts my eyes to use them, even if I take my resolution as low or high as it can go. I have tried, with this one, changing the font size, but the font either bleeds out of the windows or becomes cut off. Is there any way to increase the size of the fonts and the windows created by skins? As is, this is beautiful, but I cannot use it due to the small size. ):

First of all I love it, but is there anyway that I can change the weather code to an area that I'd rather have? (the code it gives me isn't close enough to my area)

I've been using this skin for almost 8 months and it took me a little bit to figure it out but it's fairly simple: just right click it, hover to ABP -> Configure -> Configure.ini (when your done just do the same thing to close it) and then the config box will open: there is an option for 'Get weather code' but it is usually inaccurate, so click on 'Set variables' and then another box will open. Click WeatherCode. I live in the United States, so, for a precise weather location, go to weather.com and type in where you live. After loading the page, at the end of the HTTP address, you should get a code. This code will have the prefix US in it so you should be able to see it. So, USXX0000 with XX meaning the state, and 0000 meaning the code for the town/city. So, Charlotte, North Carolina for example:

www.weather.com/weather/today/…
                                                                  -------------

USNC0121 would be the weather code in this instance. Notice the state is North Carolina, so it's USNC, and then the city code is 0121. Do not enter the colon or the 1 after the four numbers you get after the state. So, do this for wherever you live, and get that prefix. I believe you can also Google the weather code for the city/town you live in.

Once your done, click on 'Set' and then the weather will automatically refresh with the weather for where you live. Hope this helped! Sorry I'm a bit late commenting, I was just checking out the original and checking font colors to change the color of the text of the temperature and stumbled on your post!

Great!
This works fine but I need to make some thing and could use some help

First thing. Is there any visual editor?
I'm trying to had a new apps (apps4) and there is so manythings to create and to modify. If i try to a add an apps5 or 6 it will be a pain (i'm trying to do it cause it would be helpfull for me)

Other thing. How did you created the config.exe i need to edit it and add more
Why? I can explain
I work with an internal network in a cooperation system of work. When i do my part i, have to search in the extensive folders and subfolders the one of that specific resource or, open the internal email and search for the path of the file (when they give it)
With a config I would only have to do this once
The idea is to have a bar and a little button side to it, when i click on the little button it would open a config menu where i could change the label and the link of the bar. I give it the any name and the link of the folder inside the network and it's done super fast way to get there.

Thanks and hope you can help me

Hey, really like your skin, using it currently, I was wondering is there anyway to change the font to 'HaxrCorp 4088'? I cant seem to get it to work, it just gives me some bold Ariel as a result, if there is a way to add 'HaxrCorp 4088' in the font reading code would like it.

I FINALLY FOUND THE SOLUTION. ugh this took forever. But here's what I did:

replace every instance of
LeftMouseUpAction=[MeasureLink#-#]
with
LeftMouseUpAction=!Execute ["[measureLink#-#]"]

# corresponds to the number that was there instead of the "#"

whoever programmed this didn't check for faulty programming. tsk tsk.

I do not leave comments often, but for your skin I found it important to do, because you did a great job. Bravo! I myself am programming (not Rainmeter) but I know it's nice to receive compliments for our work

Bravo again, when will I receive my pay, I'll donate to you, Thank you.
